Advanced Pistol Cqb (2 Days/16 H)

Survival in high-risk scenarios is dictated by the ability to develop an immediate action plan and the readiness to execute it under extreme stress. This advanced course is designed to equip the operator with the technical skills and tactical awareness necessary to neutralize armed threats at critical distances. The program integrates cutting-edge doctrinal protocols with intensive practical sessions, ensuring the required volume of fire and training time to consolidate procedures and transform reactivity into instinctive muscle memory.

Experience Requirements & Prerequisites

This course is classified as an Advanced Level module. The student must possess proven proficiency in firearms handling within dynamic environments.

  • Mandatory Prerequisite: Successful completion of the “MID LEVEL Handgun” course or a verified equivalent professional certification.
  • Licensing: Possession of a valid Personal Firearms License.
  • Safety Standards: Due to the high complexity of the drills (contact shooting and non-conventional positions), students who fail to maintain safety requirements or demonstrate minimum technical competencies during the initial phases may be dismissed from the course at the sole discretion of the technical staff.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of the training, the operator will have acquired the skills necessary for:

  • Extreme Close Quarters (ECQ): Managing fire delivery and weapon manipulation at physical contact distances, maximizing effectiveness in confined spaces.
  • Weapon Retention & Disengagement: Applying weapon retention protocols and tactical repositioning techniques to counter disarming attempts or close-range ambushes.
  • Ground-Based Defensive Combat: Implementing effective defensive and shooting techniques from a downed position, with a specific focus on the supine position and regaining a standing posture.
  • Multidirectional Mobility: Maintaining surgical precision during complex movements (advancing, retreating, and lateral displacements).
  • Multiple Target Engagement: Coordinating the acquisition of multiple threats while optimizing economy of motion.
  • Point Shooting (Instinctive Fire): Executing accurate instinctive fire during physical contact while maintaining absolute control of the weapon system.
  • Reaction Time Analysis: Evaluating the action-reaction gap based on distance and threat profile.
  • Sighting System Management: Instantly determining the required sight picture (iron sights, Red Dot, or instinctive aiming) based on the distance-target variable.
  • Relative Precision: Modulating trigger speed and accuracy based on available time and scenario criticality.
