Advanced Rifle Cqb (2 Days/16 H)

This module provides intensive training in long-gun management (carbines and assault rifles) across diverse operational scenarios. The program focuses on maximizing weapon system efficiency, covering rapid deployment protocols, instinctive target acquisition, and high-speed engagement techniques.

Through a targeted instructional progression, students will push their limits of speed and accuracy in a dynamic, safe, and highly stimulating training environment designed to solidify technical skills under intense chronometric pressure.

Experience Requirements & Operational Standards

This is an Advanced Level module. Participation requires proven technical mastery of the long-gun system and adequate physical conditioning, necessary to correctly manage fire delivery from unconventional and alternative shooting positions.

  • Mandatory Prerequisite: Successful completion of the “Rifle” MID course
  • Licensing: Possession of a valid Personal Firearms License.
  • Safety & Performance Standards: Safety is the pillar of our doctrine. Students who fail to demonstrate rigorous adherence to safety protocols or who do not reach the minimum proficiency benchmarks during the initial phases of the course may be excluded from the program at the instructors’ sole discretion.

Note: Please carefully review the course description and admission criteria. Registration implies full understanding and possession of the technical prerequisites required to operate in a high-intensity environment.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the training, the operator will have acquired the skills necessary for:

  • Close Quarters Doctrine: Understanding and applying the fundamental pillars of short-range engagements: speed, surprise, and violence of action.
  • Fire Discrimination: Correctly identifying and implementing Target Focus (Reactive Shooting) versus Precision Shooting, based on distance and target criticality.
  • Engagement Dynamics: Mastering kinetic attack techniques and progressive fire delivery.
  • Closing on Threat: Executing aggressive advancement techniques to saturate the space and safely neutralize the adversary.
  • Weapon Retention (Long-Gun): Applying retention protocols to prevent disarming and maintain control of the weapon system during physical contact.
  • Non-Lethal Weapon Employment: Utilizing the rifle as an active protection device and impact tool to create space or for self-defense.
  • Extreme Close Quarters Shooting: Managing “contact shooting” and the simultaneous neutralization of multiple threats in hyper-saturated, close-range environments.

  • Estimated Requirement:
    • Long-Gun (Rifle/Carbine): 400 rounds.
    • Sidearm (Pistol): 100 rounds.
  • Ballistic Safety Standards:
    • For engaging metallic targets, the exclusive use of lead-core ammunition is mandatory.

Prohibitions: The use of Green Tip (M855), Brown Tip, Armor Piercing (AP), incendiary, or any steel-core substitutes is strictly prohibited during all phases of the course. Reloaded or remanufactured ammunition is absolutely forbidden!

  • Logistics & Compliance:
    • To ensure total compliance with ballistic infrastructure safety standards and operator protection, ammunition must be purchased exclusively at OS ACADEMY facilities.
